CoMu and Crafting

Hello hello hello guys and dolls!

Sorry the updates are so few and far between, I've never been one to keep to a regular schedule (blame the procrastinator in me, or maybe the "nature of the free-spirited artist"), so for that, my apologies.

As some of you well know, I have been working for a non-profit performing arts school for about 6 months now. I am the Primary Photographer for all sanctioned recitals and showcases of student performance. Recently, the photos I have taken at a few of these events were posted on the school's Facebook Page, so I decided it was time to also share them on my website. If you are on Facebook, you should go check out the school's page!! It's currently called Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts, but we have recently changed our name to Community Music School of Ann Arbor so that will be the new name when you look up the Facebook page.

The next portion of this blog is about crafting. Yes, crafting. As in Modge Podge, canvas, paint, et cetera and so on. I've recently been exploring the idea of collaging paint, photos and typography to expand on my ongoing experiment with expression and emotional displays. Stay tuned to hopefully see new and improved works shared in the 'Art' gallery of my Portfolio page, and in the mean time, check out past works I have that I will most likely repurpose for this project.

Here is a small sneak peak of some of the AA-SPA/CoMu events I've shot. Enjoy!!
